As a catering service committed to the happiness and well-being of our customers, we find it extremely helpful to listen to the needs of our ever changing clients and their health concerns. These days there are many people with food allergies such as wheat, milk, peanuts,egg, tree nuts, fish,soy, and shellfish.
We are finding more and more people with these issues and have decided to start offering some of these allergy-free foods on our menu. Be sure to keep an eye out for some of these foods on our menu in the future! Meanwhile, here is a delicious gluten-free bread recipe that tastes so close to the real thing, we think you won’t be able to tell the difference!
You may notice while handling the dough, it is more sticky than your usual wheat bread. This is because most gluten free breads are used with rice flour, thus making it very sticky. The end result is still very much soft and fluffy like your regular wheat bread.
Delicious Gluten Free Bread
*you will need:
1 1/2 cups warm skim milk
1 egg
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup egg whites
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup canola oil
1 tbsp xanthum gum
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup tapioca flour
1/4 cup garbanzo flour
1 cup white rice flour
1/4 cup millet flour
1 cup brown rice flour
1 tbsp active dry yeast
Add these ingredients into your bread machine, then check the dough consistency after 5 minutes. If it is too wet, add more rice flour, if it is too dry, add more skim milk. ENJOY!!!
